Salt Creek Retreats has 3 options for your getaway to the Hocking Hills. We offer a cabin for modern conveniences, a yurt for rustic camping and soon you will be able to stay in a travel trailer with full hookups for modern camping. You’ll find 60 private acres with hiking trails and lots of woods to explore. All of this is located 20 minutes from the Hocking Hills area of southeastern Ohio.
THE CABIN AT SALT CREEK RETREATS

Rest easy in our comfy cabin located on the edge of 60 private acres. The cabin can sleep 6 with a queen size bed in the downstairs bedroom and the open loft upstairs is set up with 4 twin beds. The front porch has an old fashioned porch swing for those early mornings and hot coffee moments or lazy afternoon ice tea time.
Outside you’ll find a swing set for the kids, a fire ring for night time marshmallows and a charcoal grill for cookouts at the picnic table. Just up the road you find our 60 private acres with hiking trails, small creeks and lots of woods for the nature escape that you’ve been longing.
THE YURT AT SALT CREEK RETREATS
Currently our yurt is under some much needed maintenance but will be available for summer camping. Spend a night in the middle of 40 acres of hills, hollers and woods. Our rustic (no electricity or running water) escape will allow you to get away from the noise and chatter of normal life. Even cell phones don’t work at the yurt, but if you can climb a hill you’ll get service. So, bring your cooler full of food and beverages, camping gear and unwind in a yurt.
Guests are limited to the number in the party reserved, No Visitors permitted.
Groups are welcome, we have Group Rates upon request.
Everyday the rate is the same, $155 per night. Holidays and Peak Season (Mid Sep through Nov 30th) $155 per night with a 2 night minimum stay.

Deposits: 1 night Deposit due at time of booking by credit card or Pay Pal. Full payment due 2 weeks prior to arrival. If reservation is made within two weeks of arrival Full Payment is required at time of booking. All Holiday and Peak Season reservations are Full payment at time of booking and are non-refundable. Peak Season runs Mid September through November 30th.
Cancellations: If you cancel prior to two weeks before arrival, a $50 cancellation fee will be charged and the remainder of your deposit will be refunded to you. *Excluding Peak and Holiday Season. If you cancel within the two weeks prior to your arrival you will forfeit your deposit.
SWITCH IT UP! Protect your deposit! We understand how life can throw all kinds of curve balls at you. SWITCH IT UP! allows you to change your dates and keeping the same length of stay without forfeiting your deposit as long as you provide a 24-hour cancellation notice. Ask for details.
Pets are welcome. We are a Pet Lovin’ Local Business. It’s fabulous fun to bring your friendly pets camping with you! Just be a good pooper scooper! No aggressive animals please, if your partner can’t behave, leave him/her at home!
Extra Cleaning Fees. Sometimes people and pets can be really messy and we will assess the property to determine if such a fee will be charged and how much.
